Mexico is genuinely a Third World Country. When visiting Mexico, you need to remember that you are in Mexico and not in the United States! Most people visiting Mexico love the fact that they are sharing new experiences with their families and are able to have the opportunity to meet and talk with people of another culture.

In order to appreciate the differences between our cultures, our experience shows that a Positive Attitude is the most important thing you need to take with you. When Americans go into Mexico with Expectations of finding everything "just like home," they are sometimes disappointed in their experience. 

If you are Adventurous and would like to experience another culture, love to interact with nature, can easily adapt to new and different surroundings, you will, most likely, love Mexico.

Why should I go to Rocky Point instead of other Mexican resorts?

• Rocky Point is in the "Free Zone". It is a fast and easy crossing with no paperwork, visa or entry tax required.

• You can Drive into Mexico from the U.S. It is a convenient 3 ½ hour drive from either Phoenix or Tucson, AZ.

• Rocky Point is NOT a border town, but a small fishing village. It has always been safe, compared to most U.S. cities.

• You don’t have to speak Spanish and can use American dollars.

• The Beaches are Beautiful and you can find Peace and Solitude.

• You can go Deep Sea Fishing, Snorkeling, Scuba Diving.

• It is usually less expensive. Costs for most other resort areas are based on a Per Person basis. You can rent a Private Home for a family for so little compared to most Mexican Resorts.

• Even if you need to fly to AZ, it usually costs less to fly to a major U.S. airport than to fly into Mexico.

• If you need to Rent A Car, it will usually cost much less in the U.S., and sometimes Rental Cars are not easily available or reliable when rented in Mexico.

Rental Management Companies

• These companies rent homes for private owners. Their inventory changes on a regular basis. This makes it more difficult to make reservations far in advance or go to the same house year after year.

• There is also a risk that the owner will take the house off the rental market before you go, or decide that they want to occupy the house themselves, causing a cancellation for you.

• In many cases, the owner is responsible for the maintenance of his own house. In this case, if a problem comes up during your rental, the owner will probably be in the U.S.

• You will be renting from a Rental Agent that may never have seen the house they are renting to you.

• Often times, prices quoted Do Not Include a Cleaning Fee or Taxes.

• Some times, part of the Deposit is Non Refundable.

Private Home Owners

• Many individual homeowners rent out their homes once in a while.

• Most of the time, the owner handles all their own maintenance on the home.

• If you have a problem during your rental period, the owner will probably be in the U.S.

• The chances are higher that the house isn’t getting immediate Maintenance since the work must be scheduled around the owner’s available free time.

• Just looking at the quoted per night cost of lodging can be very misleading when you aren’t considering the number of people that are staying for that cost and all other additional expenses you may incur.

• To get your Total Vacation Cost, remember to include costs that are not included in the Per/Night quote you got: Additional Taxes, Cleaning Fees, Cost for extra guests, Meals, Transportation, Non-Refundable Deposits.

• Since most vacations are based on a Per/Person cost, after computing a TOTAL, divide by the number of people you will be taking and you will be able to easily see which property you are considering will give you the Best Value.

• Don’t forget to add the Value of the EXPERIENCE you wish from this vacation. Sometimes it’s easy to only think about the COST. Obviously, it will cost more to rent a private home on a beautiful beach than to rent a small room in an inexpensive hotel in town. Your precious vacation time must be spent wisely if you want to return home rejuvenated and with those Wonderful memories!

• Our prices are All Inclusive.

• We don’t rent on a Per Day Basis, but rather for time periods of a 3 DAY Weekend (Friday to Sunday) or a 4 DAY Weekday (Monday to Thursday). We do this so we can give our customers the very best Value. We are able to keep our costs lower because we rent our homes more days of the week than most other home renters. We even allow you to arrive the night before your first day, after 6pm, at no extra cost, if you can make it.

• If you can accommodate your vacation schedule to the way we rent our homes, you can receive considerable savings.

• We also give a Discounted Rate during the week for those that wish to save the most.

• We allow between 4 to 8 people in each house, depending on the number of bedrooms in your home.

• If you compare your Per Person/Per Day cost of your vacation, you will find out how reasonable renting a home can be.

• You can Bring Your Own Food, rather than eating all meals in a restaurant. As well as saving money on food, you can bring your own healthy food and your favorite snacks.

• Often times, prices quoted do not include Taxes and Cleaning Fees.

• There are many condos available in Rocky Point.

• Many condos quote prices for a maximum of 4 people.

• A Per Day rate is added for anyone over the 4 people.

• Most have a kitchen so you can bring your own food.

• Prices quoted are often for 2 people.

• Prices quoted normally do not include taxes.

• A Per Person/Per Day charge is normally made for more than 2 people.

• If you have 2 or more families, you will need to rent a room for each family or, sometimes, each couple.

• You will need to eat All Meals in restaurants, which adds considerably to your TOTAL vacation cost.

• If COST is the most important factor to you, you can find some fairly inexpensive hotels off the beach that will give you a bed.
