WHEN YOU ARRIVE, you will find a note on the door, as you enter, asking you to place a note on the metal
clip on the door, if you find any needed repairs on arrival. That
way when our maintenance man stops by your vacation home, he will know what needs repair--even if you are down at the water or in
town--and will most likely be able to take care of the repair
immediately.
Each house is cleaned immediately after it is vacated. There may be
occasions that the house will be unoccupied for a rental period before you arrive. In these cases,
we do not go back into the house to clean a second time just before your
arrival. Because the wind blows constantly at the beach, it is possible
that some sand or bugs could get into the house again before your arrival.
We provide a broom, for your use, in these cases. (Remember the house was
thoroughly cleaned, the bathrooms, etc, since the last renters were in the
house.)
If you need help at any other time, he will be available, but you will need to call him from town. He does have an answering machine. If you give him the number of your house, the beach you are on and a description of the exact problem you are having,
he will be able to bring any needed materials with him when he comes back
to assist you. (In trying to help our customers, many times he goes way beyond what
is expected of him. Please remember that, Tipping is always acceptable when he has done you a
Special Favor and when you have received Superior Service.)
WHEN YOU ARE LEAVING, we would greatly appreciate your leaving another note on the metal clip if you know of any other needed repairs. Our cleaning ladies will make sure
our maintenance man gets the note so he can make the repairs as quickly as possible, many times before the next renter arrives. (We're sure you will appreciate this effort from the person that vacates the house, just before your arrival) |
